CalorieCapture iOS App

CalorieCapture is an iOS app I developed using React Native and Expo. It simplifies meal tracking by enabling users to photograph their meals. The app utilizes the GPT-4 Vision model to analyze these images and provide estimates of calories and nutrients. Users have the option to add context about their meals, enhancing the accuracy of the AI's analysis. Additionally, CalorieCapture includes a feature for saving meal details, aiding in consistent meal tracking. This app blends practicality with advanced technology, offering a user-friendly solution for dietary monitoring.

Brown Original Series Streaming App

Brown Original Series is a TV production club that I co-founded at Brown. Recognizing the need for broader accessibility, I personally crafted a streaming app. This allows the Brown community to enjoy our productions on any device, anytime. I built the platform using the latest frontend and backend technologies, ensuring both performance and ease of use. We are expected to have content live on the platform towards the end of Spring 2024.

Vectorizer Image Converstion

Vectorizer.app is a web application I created using Next.js 14, TypeScript, and a custom Node.js backend. It allows users to covert images to svgs quickly and for free. The project includes Firebase authentication, which allows users to view their conversion history and download previous conversions all from the web app. The Node.js backend runs on an Ubuntu server that uses vtracer, an open source software to convert raster images into vector graphics. The files are stored on a Firebase storage bucket, which allows for reliable access to converted svgs.
